Paul Palandjian


Mr. Paul Palandjian serves as Senior Advisor for Trinity Group Limited, a UK-based private investment banking firm established in 1996. In 2006, Mr. Palandjian started a company called Somerset Equity Advisors, LLC, which specializes in investment management and advisory. Equity formed a partnership with Trinity to develop new business opportunities and serve a combined list of clients. Prior to forming Somerset, Mr. Palandjian served for 15-years as a Principal and Managing Director for Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation and their affiliate companies. Intercontinental works out of Boston and specializes in real estate investment advising with sub-specialties in real estate investment, development, construction management and asset management.

 

While working for Intercontinental, Paul held the positions of CFO and President, and also served on both Executive and Investment Committees. During his tenure at Intercontinental, Mr. Palandjian helped grow the company portfolio from approximately $200 million to over $1.4 billion across all property types. Before joining Intercontinental, Mr. Palandjian worked at the First National Bank of Boston as a Banking Associate where he specialized in restructuring of distressed debt/loan workouts. In 2004, Mr. Palandjian was awarded the Boston Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Award, which recognizes Boston's top young executives. Also, he developed the Nine Zero Hotel in Boston, which was ranked number one in the world for best design by Condé Nast Traveler in 2005. In addition, Intercontinental received the National Association of the Office of Industrial Properties, New England Chapter, Developer of the Year Award. In addition to his career in finance, Mr. Palandjian has been an active member of many corporate, healthcare and non-profit boards.

 

Currently, he serves on the Board of Trustees at Belmont Hill School, the Board of Directors of the United States Tennis Association Foundation and on the Board of Directors for the Denis Leary Firefighter Foundation. Mr. Palandjian also holds a position as an Exhibition Committee member for the new Institute for Contemporary Art, Boston, and has been a lecturer at the Harvard Business School. Mr. Palandjian's educational background includes a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He lives with his wife Dionne and their three children.
